“Excellent stay in a quiet and well looked after property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

We had a great time in this hotel. It is nice and quiet here. The pool is brilliant and comes in very handy after a surf in Jaco :)
The whole property is well looked after and the owners keep it super clean.
This is a top accommodation for a great price :)

Both the Receptionist and the owner were extremely kind and helpful. Helps a LOT when the place keeper speaks your language and makes an effort. After completing our travels we were able to compare and whole-heartedly rate this place as excellent
Only one more place was better, and that was another Swiss owner, Luna Azul. we are both Europeans and so our opinion and evaluation is different fom a typical North-American that expects Hilton levels of amenities.
This place is blending beautifully with an amazing property, very well taken care of and preserved, providing fruit, shade and a lot of charm. We loved it there and will definitely go back, and the owner's coffee was a well received bonus :)
Rooms are well maintained and we found a crown of flowers on the beds. When asked, the owner delivered a thorough presentation of the trees and flowers. The location out of the crazy downtown, was very good for us, who really appreciate a good night sleep. Walking to the beach was a mere 10min and very pleasant
Thank you Thomas and Daniel, auf viedersehen and hasta luego !

I stayed here for two nights. The place is OK. It's a bit out of the center, about 5 minutes walking distance, which was nice because it was more quiet than what I imagine staying in the center would be like but it also meant that I was far from everything and going out at night meant taking taxis because it is unsafe to walk it alone. If you have a car or are in a group, this wouldn't be as much of a problem. The rooms are nice (cable tv, air conditioner, mini-kitchen) but it was a bit loud because I could hear the tv's and people talking in the adjoining rooms. I planned on staying here for 4 nights but cut it short, partly because I didn't like Jaco and partly because I didn't want to spend any more time in this hotel.
