“White water rafting fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012 via mobile

We went to Rafiki resort to go rafting and were very satisfied with the experience. The owner was very personable and informative about the resort and it's purpose. We had a great breakfast prepared upon our arrival and afterward took a slide down the extremely quick waterslide located right off of the breakfast area patio. Our guide was Randall and showed us a lot about the nature and local plants. The ride was a little scary at first but I always felt we were in good hands. We stopped along the river for lunch. Rafiki owns land along the river where they have made a pavilion and also working with bathrooms which was a plus! The lunch was warm and fresh brought out by the staff from Rafiki right before our arrival. We then stopped at a beautiful waterfall and were able to swim and take photos there. Photos were taken throughout the whole trip to document your adventure and are offered for sale as a package at the end of the tour. Thanks for a great time! We hope to be back in the near future!

Went to rafiki for white water rafting with a group of 12. They fed us breakfast AND lunch! The rafting was AMAZING! The guides were very knowledgable, fun, and made us feel safe! Staff was more concerned with us seeing and experiencing everything, including a waterfall and climbing and jumping from a cliff, rather than just getting us through quickly. Staff seems to really enjoy their jobs and had just as much fun with us as we had with them! Views were awesome, and we saw the TRUE, REAL costa rica- beautiful and natural!! Definitely a MUST when visiting manuel antonio and surrounding areas!!

We used Rafiki Safari as our guides for a recent whitewater rafting excursion, and they were awesome! They didn't just rush us down river like many other companies I've used in the past. We stopped several times to check out local wildlife, plants, and a beautiful waterfall! They let us get out and swim, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Whitewater rafting with Rafiki Safari is a Must-Do on your trip to Costa Rica!!

This was my first visit to Costa Rica, and Rafiki Safari Lodge was by far one of the most memorable places I visited. The people were incredibly accomodating, food was delicious, the views are breathtaking, and the white water rafting is a trip you will never forget. This will definitely be a place I go back to when I make it back to Costa Rica.

We visited in March and stayed in tent number nine. The people could not have been nicer and more helpful. We had an action packed couple of days, whitewater rafting and horseback riding, and we can't wait to return!

Rafiki Lodge is a fantastic place. We arrived to stay one night and take part in the rafting but stayed a second night because it was so peaceful and luxurious. The setting is superb, the owners friendly and interesting and the staff local. The rafting was excellent fun and very professionally done. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The wildlife was on your doorstep. And it's run on ecological principles. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
