The Azania bungalows are a slice of paradise. My husband, son, and I stayed there for nine days. The grounds are gorgeous, as is the swimming pool, and, for the price, the bungalows are much more fun than a standard hotel. My teenage son particularly liked having his own space in the sleeping loft. My husband and I enjoyed lazing around on the hammocks. You really won't miss the air conditioning as there is a constant breeze. The insects aren't too bad, except after a rain, in which case you will want to use repellant and the netting they provide. The owners and staff were consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food in the restaurant is outstanding! I highly recommend this place and will likely return. - Just a couple of things to be aware of: the roads leading to Azania are not paved and full of potholes, so be careful. Also, playa cocles is a surfer's beach. It is not safe for swimming. If you want to swim, you will need to go to Punta Uva or Manzanillo.
