I agree with everything posted above about the cleanliness and nice grounds of Coco Loco... the only problem seems to be the theft! I did not hear one mention of that at the Lodge before I went to PV, and while I am not sure it would have swayed me, it became a problem once we were there.
You should be fine if you use the triple-locked door and close your window at night. However, there was no explanation of how to use all three locks, nor any mention of a theft problem in the first place. My friend's hut was broken into in the middle of the night and someone rifled through their belongings and made off with a bunch while they were asleep in the bed. As you can imagine, the police, but more surprising, the management, had heard it all before and were of little help... once it was done, it was done. Personally, we had two pairs of shorts taken off the porch, in the grand scheme it was a small price to pay.
I felt the management was a little too stern for my tastes, being that they are in the hospitality industry and all. It felt like we were bothering them on most occasions.
The biggest plus has to be Miss Helena, who runs the soda on the neighboring property. Her food was excellent and she was very helpful and kind.
