A great place if you're looking for absolute jungle tranquility, not so great if you don't have a car, as it's located about 1 km away from the main road, and some 3 km from Puerto Viejo.
The german owners were very nice, and the howler monkey who lives there is the most charming lady; she's the lodge's main attraction and she knows it, quite a diva.
Good breakfast included in the price. Rooms are clean and spacious, we did not have bugs or mosquitoes inside, which is surprising given the location.
Highly recommended if you like to sit and relax watching trees, but if you like to go to the beach and enjoy nightlife, it may be a bit too secluded, especially if you don't have a car. We loved it, though, and will definitely go back.
