Well - honestly spoken - we had the lowest expectations when we called Puerto Limon on our CELEBRITY EQUINOX. Gaby (the Austrian manager) was not allowed just at the pier so we had to go outside the Cruise Terminal to find her. But she must have a very good repution. Everyone we asked directed us to her without trying to sell their tours. We were a group of 7 and we had pouring rain. But the organisation was great as she had rain ponchos for us ready. I think that she is Biollgist so I learned in the few hours from from nature than in my last 45 years together. She took care that we did not distroy anything. More: she found that one monkey need to have a diet (no chips) and tried to get the bag with the potato chips away from the monkey. The second part in the river cruise was great as it was the perfect boat that we can see a lot and the boat was large enough that all of us could spread out and small enough that we can stop very close to the natural attractions. It was the show of my life that she tried to imitate the sound of some animals to get their attraction to come and see us. Last not least: she got the best pastries on the whole cruise for us: Patties. But also the visit with the fruit market stand. It took us several week before we saw the fruit departement of our supermarket again as we missed the original flavour of the fruits in Costa Rica. It was worth to join her tour. Although she is Austrian she can also offer her tour in other languages but German, like English and Spanish.
