“Must do in Costa Rica”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

We booked this tour off of a Holland America cruise and it was one of the highlights of our trip. This was our first time on a zip line and now we are hooked. I am 69 and my wife is 64 so we expexted to be the senior citizens on this trip. It turns out that of our group of 33 we were about the median age. The bus trip to the site was very nice in a clean, air conditiioned bus with a english speaking guide who filled us in on the local scene. The bus dropped us at a very nice facility with restrooms, refreshments, etc. Then we split into smaller groups and were taken further up the hill by van. There we got our gear and had an explanation of how everything worked. There was a short walk up the hill then some stairs to climb to the first platform. There were 11 or 12 cables each getting a little longer. If you decide that you are not having fun you can quit after cable five or seven. After cable seven they get really long. The views are spectacular and when it was over just about eveyone wanted to go again. At the end there is water and fresh fruit but the real treat are the ice cold Imperials (local beer, $3 each) to cap off the day.

“Awesome experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

My son and I went zip-lining here in March of this year. We were on Celebrity but did not do an organized tour to this venue. We used a taxi to get there and were with only two other people who also independently found their way there. We had two guides that went with us the entire way. One went ahead of us and waited on the next platform and one stayed behind until we were on the next platform. It was extremely safe and the guides were very careful to make sure we stayed that way. The zip-line itself was amazing in terms of length and slope (some were steeper than others). We saw a sloth just a few feet from the zip-line and it was fun to watch him watch us. The views were beautiful... looking out over the tops of the trees. They even treated us to delicious fresh fruit when we were done. We had an amazing time at The Jungle Breeze!

“Great zip line experience, short distance from the port”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We booked this trip through Holland America, and were not disappointed. Our guide was very informative on the bus ride there. They had snacks, drinks, and restrooms, and a friendly, helpful staff. I've been zip-lining before, and this experience was much better. The views were incredible, even caught a glimpse of a sloth and monkeys. Highly recomended!

“Del Monte Tour/City Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

The tour group provided me and my husband an outstanding tour of the beautiful country and city of Limon, Costa Rica. I had always dreamed of going there and now I can say I've been and want to go back. Your hospitality and knowledge of the country was unbelievable. I will tell my entire family and friends who are planning a trip or who may think about planning a trip to contact you for a fantastic treat of your country.

“Must do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We were taken to this attraction by our driver and guide, Danilo Hall (read our review on TripAdvisor). We were first given a set of safety instructions and put into a full harness: leg straps; shoulder harness; hard hat; gloves; safety clip. The cables are doubled, as are the safety snaps. The experience starts with some “soft” zips through several hundred feet between trees and progresses to one that is over 1000’ and a significant drop. I estimate we were going over 30 MPH at one point. What a kick‼ Overall, there are eleven individual zips ranging from several hundred feet apart to over 1000’ apart. The drops range from 50’ – 100’ to over 150’.

At no time did we feel that we were “unsafe.” although we did have to sign a waiver and release before we were given any gear or instruction. We can highly recommend all the young folks who were the station attendants: Jose, Rafa, and Tatiana stand out in our minds. While we were on the platforms, we were able to observe monkeys and sloths.

If you want a fantastic view of the Costa Rican jungle along with not-to-be –forgotten thrills, you must try this.
