We booked this tour off of a Holland America cruise and it was one of the highlights of our trip. This was our first time on a zip line and now we are hooked. I am 69 and my wife is 64 so we expexted to be the senior citizens on this trip. It turns out that of our group of 33 we were about the median age. The bus trip to the site was very nice in a clean, air conditiioned bus with a english speaking guide who filled us in on the local scene. The bus dropped us at a very nice facility with restrooms, refreshments, etc. Then we split into smaller groups and were taken further up the hill by van. There we got our gear and had an explanation of how everything worked. There was a short walk up the hill then some stairs to climb to the first platform. There were 11 or 12 cables each getting a little longer. If you decide that you are not having fun you can quit after cable five or seven. After cable seven they get really long. The views are spectacular and when it was over just about eveyone wanted to go again. At the end there is water and fresh fruit but the real treat are the ice cold Imperials (local beer, $3 each) to cap off the day.
