The tour was okay and there was some useful information provided about growing coffee. However, most of the tour was a skit about the origins of coffee. It was not worth the expensive price tag of $19 or $29 for the tour with lunch. Another note is that Cafe Britt does not actually grow any of the coffee themselves. They have a very small area to show guests what coffee plants look like, but that's all. They are merely buyers of beans from the various coffee farms in the region. Overall, I would recommend trying another tour.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to Caffe Britt - we actually combined our visit with one to a nearby Butterfly Farm. Not knowing anything about coffee, we enjoyed the funny, upbeat tour of the grounds and the tasting. We definitely learned more about coffee beans, from their beginning as a "coffee cherry" to the roasted, packaged product. It ended with a zany skit which seems strange but was fun. All in all, we would recommend taking 3-4 hours to visit Caffe Britt, especially if you have children.
