This hotel was everything we expected and more. The view made our trip. Every evening, my boyfriend and I sipped beer and watched the sunset. We could have cooked our own meals if we wanted to! The hotel was clean, quiet, had a great air conditioner, and great customer service. The bar is open from about 5 to whenever (closes usually around 8, but if there are people there drinking, Hans will keep it open). The pool was nice for days when the wind was blowing too hard to make it comfortable to lay on the beach. The only thing to be aware of is it is about a 10 minute walk to town on dusty roads, which eliminates heels as an option for dinner (but in Tamarindo, heels are pointless anyways). Ana will call a cab for you without a problem too. While Tamarindo was great, I think the evenings watching the sunset on the balcony with my loved one is what made the trip so special.
