Absolutly the greatest place to stay in Tamarindo. The rooms are cleaned daily, they have air conditioners that actually work, warm showers, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would reccomened El Mono Loco to anyone who is looking for a fun atmosphere that can laid backed, but also filled with huge laughs and welcoming smiles. Tell Silvia, Marcio, Marvin, and Bruno (if he's in town) I said hi and I already miss them. Have fun in Tamarindo and also find James they call him EL Conejo, the rabbit--tell him hi also.

It is simple, but very lovely. The perfect place to relax. It is close to the beach, the rooms are nice and clean and the family who runs the place are really nice people.
