Sme of our friends stayed at a cheaper place just a block away and the accommodations are night and day. While everyone in Costa Rica has been really friendly, all the staff at Arco were helpful and very sweet. The hotel is a five minute walk from the beach and there are a ton of places to eat while here. Last nights gem was Pescados, a little restraint on the beach that is tucked away. I had a steak that was to die for and the rest of my group had amazing fresh caught red snapper. The restaurant t at Arco, Seasons, is exceptional as well. Great food, but a little spendy for Costa Rica, you will not have the chef come to you table anywhere else. The breakfast is included- fresh fruit and granola, toast and fresh juice and coffee. Simple and delicious.
The rooms are nice, and air conditioned! A nice break from the heat and humidity when you get back from a long day on the beach of baking in the sun. Minimal bugs in the room because of the excellent weather stripping on the doors and well kept grounds to keep Mosquitos to a minimum. Others in our group staying at another local place for a lot less had to deal with 10+ bugs bites every morning, so I am glad I sprang for the better accommodations. Overall- Amazing!
