We just returned from our stay in Costa Rica and we were very impressed with this little hotel. It is very clean and the staff were
very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly small but adequate. There is a very nice little pool with a kitchen so that you can have a drink/snacks while at the pool. There are beautiful painted murals on the walls which depict Cosa Rica's beauty. There is also a nice TV/sitting room area if you don't want to stay in your room to watch TV or read. The hotel has put in a nice walkway to the beach with is located just across the street. There is a lovely little bake shop nearby that has a decent breakfast and a great ocean view. We also ordered a pizza from here one evening. We hiked to town several times
- it's a nice walk. You couldn't walk from here to the new grocery store but a taxi will take you and wait while you have lunch and get some groceries for only $10. 00. We would stay here again!

far away from everything, didn't clean well, left early and they still charged me nights i didn't stay, tried to rip me off with safe key deposit. stay away, better hotels closer to beach and town

Did not like this place. They didn't clean well, forgot towels often, was more expensive then I anticipated.

I enjoyed my stay in Pueblo Dorado. It was very clean with AC and a small but decent pool. It is on the outer edge of the town so walking to the beach and center of town took 10 minutes.
