Lovely little cafe. Great value. Owned by an expat Canadian from Toronto. She makes all her own desserts and anything else she can, like bread though sometimes she will buy local made if appropriate. Couple of sandwiches, sodas, and desserts was about $25 for two. Unfortunately the coffee is not as good as we hoped (especially for a cafe) BUT I have to qualify that...NOWHERE in Tamarindo did we get a "good" coffee (and forget about espresso). The reason seems to be all the best stuff is exported so locally they just can't get great beans. (In fairness we own an imported Italian espresso machine, grind our own beans and are a bit snobbish about this! ;) So don't hold that against this cafe. It is good food, good dessert and good value. We quote enjoyed it.
