The Beach House was the only hostel on the beach. The location and view couldn't have been any better. They provided breakfast and coffee which was awesome. What really made our stay memorable was the staff and the other people who were staying at the hostel. Very laid back, a ton of fun, and super friendly.

I stayed at the Beach House for about 2 weeks. It was class. The whole vibe of the place and the attitude of the staff was awesome. You're perfectly placed to get out surfing with a few breaks to choose from nearby. I can't comment on rooms as I was staying in a hammock but in terms of value for money, overall goodness and really fun place to stay you'll be hard pressed to beat the Beach House.

Best location in Tamarindo, especially if you surf. You walk out the back door, through the garden, and there's the surf break. Very chill atmosphere and really cool people running the place, feels more like a home than a hostel.

it was EXTREMELY hard to find anyone to even pay for our nights.... and the doors were VERY hard to unlock.. (a few of the nights the family that owns it were woken up when we were trying and trying to unlock the doors and couldnt.... so they came to help up unlock it)

it's a little walk from the main area, which actually I really liked.... little sketchy walking on the road at night, but it was nice and quiet....

overall it was a pretty good hostel.
