Best location in Tamarindo, especially if you surf. You walk out the back door, through the garden, and there's the surf break. Very chill atmosphere and really cool people running the place, feels more like a home than a hostel.

it was EXTREMELY hard to find anyone to even pay for our nights.... and the doors were VERY hard to unlock.. (a few of the nights the family that owns it were woken up when we were trying and trying to unlock the doors and couldnt.... so they came to help up unlock it)

it's a little walk from the main area, which actually I really liked.... little sketchy walking on the road at night, but it was nice and quiet....

overall it was a pretty good hostel.

've never seen a place as cool as The Beach House.What other Hostal in town is beach front ? NONE... Besides being beach front , the quality of the accommodation is great. The new Bungalows are spectacular...what other way of sleeping beach front , feeling the breeze while you are sleeping ??? The Administrators are too cool very helpful . I highly recommend this place ... Backpacker...THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE IN TAMARINDO NO DOUBTS !!!

This hostel has the best location ever. the best surfspot right in front, great view, right at the beach, beautifull sunsets and wildlife around you. I was planning on staying just for 2 nights but ended up staying almost a month. the staff is really nice. They organize nice trips and events and partys.The center of the town is just a little walk away and you are able to use the bike of the beach house to get around. the hostel feels like a home. nothing is impossible!
