We stayed for only one night, thankfully, in January (2013) as we were passing through. As many reviewers noted, the location is ideal and quite beautiful. However, the owner is terrible. He sits in the center of the pool/bar/restaurant area at a wood table (all the surrounding tables are plastic) with his cigarette, guard, drink, and disgusting emphysema cough. While his depressing presence totally ruined my time there, the worst moment was watching him (78 years?) stumble away with a young girl (16 years?) who clearly showed up around 9 pm to escort him out. What a horrible experience.

We stayed three nights with three teenagers. Pool is fine (for kids) and the location is on the beach.

This place is simply lacking management. The German owner sits at a table all day and smokes (even when guests are eating at the next tables) - at 11 a.m. he adds beers. Strange people are hanging around (friends of the owner, guards?) It could be a perfect place, but sadly it isn't. Breakfast is a joke. The room price is pretty high, but if you like to have two pieces of toast you have to pay extra. If you like to use the safety box in your room you have to pay $3 per day. Beach towels are $1 a day.

Rooms need maintenance and the staff has very little service manners (and I'm not expecting a lot - just a smile now and then).

excellent staff with a friendly smile. The pool is great and the beach is even better. We stayed for 8 days during the slow season. We had the entire place to ourselves for much of the time. The rates are very reasonable, rooms are more than adequate, and the location is awesome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Samara.

maintained. Personel very, very nice - they took good care of us. Rates are absolutely
correct. I recommend this hotel anytime.
