When our grand kids are visiting, they think "going to the beach" means they are headed to Vela because it is so easy for them to enjoy the water's edge while their parents can sit just a few meters away and observe. Awesome place to hang out, great drinks, tasty international cuisine, right in front of the beautiful blue ocean of Samara which makes the atmosphere very cool and refreshing from the hot streets up the road to the hotels and rentals. You feel like you are in an Oasis in paradise as the temperatures go down at least 10 degrees as you are sitting with the cool ocean breeze all day long! Great spot to have lunch, watch the sun go down with a cold beer or cocktail with great people and have a quiet awesome dinner! Enjoy!
