Its usually so hard to travel and find vegetarian options let alone and entire restaurant. My girlfriend and I are vegan and were greeted by the owner Sabina who was not only nicest host but also very accommodating. After receiving many options to choose from we ended up sampling a few of the appetizers and two entrees. Sabina pointed out that her ingredients were organic and local (many from her own garden) and it showed. Everything was wonderful and we were more than happy to learn she even had Vegan ice cream for dessert that she made from her own coconut milk. It was outstanding. Upon hearing about Ahora Si we drove 1.5 hrs to Samara for the day so we could enjoy dinner and will do it every time we return to CR. In 3 trips covering most of this amazing country this is by far the best meal we have had.

This restaurant was by far one of the best places to go in Samara. The food was absolutely delicious; especially the homemade Gnocchi and bruschetta. The prices here were very good; a very inexpensive yet the portions were very generous. I went here multiple times during my stay at Samara because I just loved the food. The staff are very cool and attentive, the music was very welcoming and the restaurant looked beautiful. It was enjoyable having their lovable cats walking around the restaurant too. Its located away from the loud bars on the beach and they also serve some really great wines, not to mention a beer selection as well. I totally recommend that anyone should come here if they are visiting Samara, its the gem of all restaurants there!!

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant after reading reviews on this website. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and staff to an absolutely delicious meal that was prepared as we waited. Fresh squeezed lemonade complimented our pesto gnocchi, vegetable curry and delicious home made ice cream. The restaurant has a rich ambiance and is tucked into a corner in Samara that is slightly off the beaten path. This was definitely some of the best food we've ever eaten. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Best meals we had in Costa Rica! The home made pasta had my young daughter wanting to back every night:) The food was fresh and delicious, not to mention healthy - in a very good way! Loved being able to see into the spotless kitchen as our wonderful meals were being prepared. Sabina and her staff were always very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
