This is a treasure for all food lovers. The family who own this lovely establishment not only offer wonderful cuisine but great hospitality. Before you go try the to die for pineapple dessert.

“Everyone assured us that you could never miss here and it's true.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

The Spaghetti with Camerones (Shrimp) and aguacate (avocado) sauce is unbelievably good. We ate here 3 nights out of 6 and would have eaten there more if we had found it earlier. The chef let me watch her prepare our dinners the last couple of nights. Simple ingredients but she (Anna) is a master. All the pork dinners are wonderful. Rice with vegetables doesn't sound as amazing as it tastes. I guess it is Costa Rican food with an Italian touch. Our waiters were all great - Alfonso became our favorite.

“Good local food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

It looks a little spartan from outside, but the food was good - particularly the tipico dishes, had great smoothies and good service both times we were there. Loved the pineapple in caramel sauce with ice cream dessert.

“Simple restaurant with good food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Me and my daughter ended up in this restaurant to personally check the good reviews on TripAdvisor.
The restaurant was abandoned except for one table, we still decided to give it a try.
The atmosphere is close to nothing, to much white light and simple furniture.
We were welcomed by a very friendly young waiter who was very informative about the menu and made our decision on what to eat very easy.
We decided to split to dishes, the whole grilled fish and a plate of arroz con pollo, rice and chicken.
A huge amount of food was served to our table and both the dishes were delicious.
We paid about 25 USD for the food and 2 drinks.
The waiter was also very helpful with finding a place to stay, made some phone calls and even offered an umbrella to borrow to check out the place for the night.
Conclusion, the reviews about this restaurant are honest.
We tried again in the morning for breakfast but that was not possible which is a bit weird for a restaurant with a hotel attached to it.

“Hands down favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

This restaurant is amazing. All of the food (mostly local dishes is what we ate) was delicious, and the service was super nice and funny. They even bent over backwards to accommodate my husbands many food allergies without giving away their secret recipes. The garlic bread they have is easily one of the best things I have ever tasted, and they make tasty and inexpensive cocktails that are well worth it. We skipped eating there one night of our trip, and regretted it, so don't miss out on this one!
