Beautiful apartments with all amenities, very clean and safe, surrounded by greenery and just a few steps from the beach. The best for a relaxing stay and to enjoy nature in costa rica. Beautiful garden where you can also see cute animals. The owner is very kind, friendly and always available to people. Strongly recommend to all. Excellent price for the service it offers.
Those who do not appreciate, do not appreciate the Costa Rica!!!

I had planned to stay at Apartamentos Karmen for several weeks because I was attending a language program at Intercultura. The apartments are very cute, right next door to the school and minutes from the beach, the town's center and Samara's night life. A definite plus for this place is its central and private location. But I checked out after a few days. These accommodations were just a bit too rustic for me. There was no hot water in my apartment, and no screens on the windows (which is your main source of air flow) thus mosquitos, Geckos and numerous bugs were a nuisance. Ants were a problem in the kitchen. And no safe. If you want to enjoy the night life you are located in the middle of it with several bars and disco clubs at your fingertips. If you don't feel like experiencing the night life, it will come to you as you will spend most of your nights listening to it. When you do finally drift off you may be awaken by an obnoxious rooster and chickens wandering the grounds. Overall, Apartamentos Karmen wasn't conducive to the learning environment I was looking for while I was attending school and wasn't work the money I paid to stay there.
