We had the apartment, with only two people, it does sleep at least 4. The apartment is VERY spacious, living room and separate (huge) bedroom, however it is towards the back, with no view. It is 'muy tipico', simple, clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would want for simple needs. It is not luxurious, but the air conditioners are good and quiet, with remotes. Sometimes, there was no hot water, but it was not uncomfortably cold, either.
The location is excellent, on a beautiful clean unspoiled beach with lots of manzanillo trees. Not a good surfing beach, but GREAT for bathing in the sea or walking. Beach is clean and safe. Hotel is safe. The ever present owner is keeping a sharp eye for everything going on there and is available for whatever you might need, but is not intrusive. There are beautifully pruned shade trees and a lovely, clean pool. A place to wash off all your sandy feet and shoes. Grassy area between pool patio and beach walkway. Lots of Ticos stay here with well behaved little kids. The place is usually very quiet, but one night they had a party and got loud. It was fun to hear them having such a good time. It did not go on too late. It was fun. The restaurant is very good. Simple Spanish fare, mostly. Fresh fish, naturally! Very nice view from the restaurant open covered patio The staff was very pleasant, always cheerful. The gardener is always there, sweeping and pruning. It felt very safe. The whole area felt safe. We went walking all over. Lovely. I would definitely come back. I hope that will happen. Thank you, Felix, and hope your injury is better now.
