We stopped here on our last night in Playa Grande, The surf shop, Frijoles Locos (awesome place/people too) referred us. The food was fabulous, Jason was more than willing to accommodate a few requests from the kids. The Tuna Tower has been mentioned here, ditto that! We enjoyed our last evening in Costa Rica, sitting outside in the evening breeze, listening to the coastal sounds and creatures, a fine meal with beers and wine, chit-chatting with a young guy who is passionate about the Playa Grande, Costa Rica region/lifestyle so much that he moved his family there and does what he loves to do. Many of us only dream of that, Jason is not only doing it but doing an amazing job!

Tuna Tower was great. Price was very good, especially compared to anything of similar quality that you could get in Tamarindo. We ate there almost every night of our stay.

We had an awesome dinner at the Garden Grill. I think between the 6 of us we ordered everythign on the menu and it was all fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and meeting Jason and his family. Definitely a great place to go.

PLaya Grande in general was an amazing experience, but The Garden Grill made it even better! Small menu, but great options! The tuna tower is not beautiful but delicious and filling! Local vibe and peaceful as you sit outside and still enjoy the Costa Rican sounds and breezes!
