“Great food ... priced for tourists”
Cute open air restaurant with thatched roof right in the business area of Flamingo. Lovely to sit in, but only a view of other stores or the street. We ordered five things -- two different sandwich wraps and two different plates of casado, plus a red snapper meal. All were GREAT except the red snapper which I think was boiled to the point of it being so tough it was not really edible.
We are a family of 5 traveling on a budget and this was the most expensive place at which we ate. We had the five meals plus 3 juices to share and it came to $68. Part of the problem was that we didn't notice that the prices on the menu didn't include a 13% tax and another 10% tax. $68 isn't really that expensive for 5 people, but we managed to eat everywhere else over our ten days for $40 or less and they were equally delicious. (I've attached a photo of the menu if you're interested in seeing it.)
So with the higher than normal casual dining prices abd a fairly unfriendly server, I can't highly recommend this place, but the food was pretty fresh and tasty.
