“Perfect place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

A beautiful place in a volcanic beach, offer an incredible high quality food created by a famous cheaf from Barcelona who used to mix the European experience with the high quality typical ingredient (great fish and fruits), all with a great service always kind and with the huge atmosphere of the Ocean

“Great restaurant. Nice beach club. Excellent hotel (5 suites)!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

It is not just a restaurant. It's a beach club, hotel and restaurant in one.

Restaurant : Really good kitchen. A bit mediterranean. It might be a bit more expensive then your average Costa Rican chow, but it is way better. Traveled in Costa Rica for three and a halve weeks, this was the best kitchen we came across. Stayed in top locations like the Tortuga Lodge, or the Rainforest hotel in Chachagua, and ate in some nice upscale restaurants like Kapi Kapi (way more expensive) near Quepos, but never had better food in Costa Rica then here. Definitely a top restaurant!

Beach club : It is right on the beach. It has lounge seats. It has beach chairs. It has a great bar. It has great service! One afternoon we sat on the beach in a beach chair, and out of the blue we were served a chopped coconut, just for the fun of it. Whether you stay on the premises or stay on the beach, drinks are served!

Hotel : It has 5 upscale suites. Nicely decorated. Really big bathrooms. Very clean. Airco. In the evening your are surprised with some home made chocolates / desert like treat (remember : the kitchen is really good!) that decorate your room when you get back. Swimming pool available. Again, great service.

Oscar, greetings from the Dutchies! You were right about the restaurant!

“Good Food with a View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013 via mobile

Had lunch here. Fish and chips were very well prepared. Fish larger than expected, soft, fresh and fried lightly with a crunchy exterior. French fries are tasty. Pina colodas, frozen were fantastic. Chocolate souffle put the finishing touches on the meal. All this while gazing at the ocean and the bright blue sky.
