This may have been a nice hotel back in the 70's but it seems that no maintenance work has been done since.
The "beach area" has been destroyed by the sea, the bungalows are old and everything is falling apart.
Perhaps more importantly, on being shown the room, we found the bed littered with cement that kept falling from the ceiling! The employee who took us to the room simply pushed it away and pretended nothing happened. On being asked wether there was another room and told it was unacceptable - all in Spanish, the only language understood - we were informed other rooms were full and that was it. Unfortunately, Garza is too far from everything otherwise we would have gone. We travelled over 50 countries and can safely say that at 90USD this was the worse value for money we ever encountered! The only plus: 200 meters from the hotel'entrance on the gravel road leading to it, is Casa something (a feminin first name), a family home where they serve meals. We had some fish and shrimps under the starry sky. It was delicious and wonderful!
