“The best place to stay in the Guanacaste mountain- Hidden, affordable gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2010

I absolutely loved this place, just can't believe that I'm writing the first review: there are a LOT of tourists that choose this place for their holidays! Now we really are talking about a hidden gem!

The place is completely natural. It has 5 pools, one with a few whirpools, bridge, water slice and children pool. And you still di'dn't hear the best: the pools have THERMAL waters of different temperatures!!! and ALL OF THEM overlook the Miravalles volcano in a view that never get foggy (by the way, the complex is really close from the volcano). They put mud fountains and douches just outside the cabins, so you can have a mud face or body shower and take a douche afterwards. The main pool has wet bar and the last pool (with the bridge) has a sauna behind.

All the cabins have porch and the douches have thermal water. Where can you find a place with thermal water in the douche?? here for sure.

The standard breakfast is CostaRican style, but you can choose other possibilities. I am CostaRican so I can think of something better. Prices of the Restaurant are affordable, food fresh and delicious and mostly äbbondant", not like in other places where they leave you hungry with one dish. The prices of the Cabins are also very affordable. The complex is surrounded by wonderful settings and as it is so close to the volcano, the hiking area is also very close. I regret I dont have my own pictures here, but you can find in their site a glimpse like the ones included. There is even a small playground area for the children -not big, a few swings when I was there. I think the one thing I found they could improve is that you need to park in exposed area, but in that part of Costa Rica that is not a danger.
