We really enjoyed our staying here. The owners were extremely helpful and let us even cook in their kitchen. A color-changing small gecko was the highlight for our kids after breakfast. The nearby river is very nice for swimming. Water is not too cold.
Breakfast is simple, but enjoyable with fresh orange juice and homemade food such as gallo pinto or pancakes.
If you go here: DON'T go via Bijagua, we nearly broke our van apart. Yet, we managed to come here ;-) Go via San Rafael (~30 minutes). The street was freshly done (Dec. 2013), and a bridge still marked as a pedestrian bridge is now passable by car. As we did not know it, it took us a 3,5h rough drive.
