My husband and I stumbled upon this, and we loved it. We had no reservation, but the staff there was very welcoming and helpful. Staff does not speak English! Our cabin was clean and very nice, mosquito netting supplied, but we did not get bitten up by bugs. We had a nice but bland dinner then headed for bed. The overnight lullaby by insects, lizards and birds was not to be missed. In the morning, you will hear the music start up all over again. We went to breakfast, and a large group of capuchin monkeys joined us in the trees overhead. My husband made some clicking noises, and the monkeys were transfixed. A delightful experience. We also took the Sendero de Amor (Trail of Love) and enjoyed the bosque. Very nice experience but not the ritz. If you want bright lights and big city, stay elsewhere. If you want to see and sleep overnight in the rain forest, stay here.
