“Fun and safe tour, great guides, get the photo CD!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

This was a great tour. I would highly recommend buying the CD of pictures that they sell at the end of the tour. The CD is $30 and contains all the pictures that the guides took throughout your tour, so one CD per family is enough. They take great pictures of you on the ziplines. So you can just relax and enjoy the experience, let them take the pictures and then buy pictures at the end. In addition to the pictures that the guides took during your tour, there are also pictures of plants and wildlife and scenery of the area.

For this tour, you arrive at reception, sign a liability waiver, get fitted into a harness, and issued a hard hat, breaking glove and regular leather glove. Then it's on to zipline school where you are given a lesson on zipline basics, and take a very short line to make sure you are comfortable. Then everyone in the tour loads into a truck, and is driven up the mountain to the first zipline. The ziplines are of a double-cable design and are strung between high trees. After 8 zip-lines you have the opportunity to participate in the Tarzan Swing. This is a rope swing that attaches to your hipline harness and allows you to step off from a platform high above the ground, swing back and forth half a dozen times, and then be safely lowered to the ground. After that you finish up ziplining the highest and fastest lines of the tour back to the reception building. After the tour, you are assisted out of your harness and given a free drink.

Compared to the SKY TREK tour, Ecoglide is a great value. Ecoglide is $45 per person, vs over $70 per person for SkyTrek. I do think the height and views of SkyTrek are more spectacular. However Ecoglide has a much better price and provides the additional experience of the swing. I would highly recommend ecoglide or sky trek. It's up to you whether you think higher ziplines with more expansive views are worth the additional money. The Ecoglide tours are also plenty high and also have great views. You will not have an inferior experience with Ecoglide.

“Fun gliding”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

The staff was very friendly and fun and were clearly very comfortable with the ziplines. They strapped us in and did a safety course first. There were 12 platforms, with some ziplines faster and higher than others. None were super scary, it was more fun with great views. they even pointed out wildlife when we saw it. Platform 8 was a tarzan swing- that was probably the most thrilling. At the end they have a cd of photos and videos of the experience for $30 to sell you. We took our own photos throughout so we didn't buy it, but their photos were definitely nicer than ours!
