I would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a decently-priced hotel that is in a fairly neutral location. The size of our room was more than big enough for the two of us, it was clean and well-kept, there was a mini-fridge which was great for keeping drinks cold, we had an air conditioner that worked great and the bathroom was fine. It's located close enough to the town of La Fortuna that you can walk there (we did several times) and close enough to be a short drive to the volcano and hot springs. It's right next to a grocery store which is the best place to stock up on water and snacks, near several great and affordable restaurants, and across the street from the best-quality souvenier shop that we came across in the entire country. It also has internet at no charge to guests and serves breakfast (for a decent price) every morning.
