We visited Baldi Hot Springs after a full day of exploring the area, the La Fortuna Waterfall and the Sky Adventures Walk and Zip Line. It was a rainy, cold day so we were so ready for the hot springs when we arrived at around 6pm. We were considering the other hot springs mentioned in the guide book, Tabacon and Eco Termales, but found Tabacon a little pricey and Baldi just worked better for our schedule. Dinner was also included for only $34, so we chose Baldi and were not disappointed. We are 34 year old couple from Canada. We arrived and ate right away at the buffet, which was fine and lots of options but we just wanted to eat and warm up as we were chilled to the bone! We were very impressed with the size and variety of the pools. There were 6-7 separate pools, which were all very large and elaborate. I had no idea it was going to be so big. There weren't many people there, as it was later at night. For $34 we were happy, as really there is only so long you can stay in the hot pools, so spending $60+ for Tabacon would have been a waste. We checked out all the pools, had a beer at the swim up bar and left after about 2.5 hours. Baldi is open until 10pm. Its supposed to be more of the party place, but we enjoyed it as it was quiet when we were there.
