I went to this resort recently with some friends and had a great time. It was very relaxing, the service was top notch, the view of the volcano was outstanding. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to a return visit again next year.

Relaxing on the balcony while watching the clouds roll by + massages while
listening to the river rumble by + later sitting in the swim up bar drinking a
margarita = no knots in my back. Too bad they came back on the flight home. Guess
I’ve got to go back!
The views are spectacular and all of the staff was overly nice (loved Carlos and Jose
at the restaurant!). Be sure to pay for the room with the Jacuzzi on the balcony and
leave time in your trip to enjoy it! Definitely don’t miss zip lining and rafting; both
were set up by the receptionist.

My husband and I decided to honeymoon here. It was beyond a breathtaking and amazing experience. At first we weren't so sure as we drove past town to the hotel, but once we finally arrived we were absolutely speechless. I think because it is a little out of the way it isn't higher on the ratings, but it is ridiculously spectacular! If you go to La Fortuna you must stay at the Lost Iguana Resort. There are trails, massages, great food, just anything you could ask for in a place. It was safe and friendly and the views were insane. Every room looks out to the volcano and you are surrounded by the lusciousness of the rain forest. Our room was absolutely amazing! I really cannot say enough about this place. If you are in the area you need to stay here, you will absolutely love it!!!!!! We are so, so thrilled we did. It was the trip of a lifetime!! Thank you Lost Iguana Resort!!! We love you!!!

my husband and i went and loved it! the spa was wonderful and i loved being able to see the volcano at night from my bed when it erupted! suite was roomy and shower was awesome! and loved the jacuzzi tub on the deck - again facing the volcano!
