This tour is well worth the price. For about $22 per person we received a tour of the plantation including the history of cocoa beans. The tour guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. Then we were taken through the whole process of preparing cocoa powder and chocolate. We helped shell the beans and grind into powder. Then we made the powder into hot cocoa and finally melted chocolate. We were able to taste generous portions of each and mix in a number of toppings like coconut, cinnamon, brown sugar, almond, orange, hibiscus, peanut, etc. this was a great experience. I highly recommend it!
