This hotel was a breath of fresh air after a harrowing week in Costa Rica. I was thrilled with the amenities - pretty lobby, clean and well-appointed rooms, hot water and great water pressure (this, I discovered, was hard to find in this price range at other hotels in CR) breakfast included, free internet 24/7, and awesome helpful staff that spoke great English. And, to boot, we paid $50 US dollars per night (this was during the low season in July). If American-type hotels are your thing when traveling, this is the closest you'll come BY FAR for this price range. Otherwise, you'll have to dish out big money for the high end resorts for the same services. I give this hotel a big shiny "A"
