This hotel is made of bungalows up a long long road. Good luck if you need to dash back to your room for something. The rooms all have insects crawling around, the hair dryer fell off the wall, they kept forgetting to give us towels and my cousin's bathroom had no hot water and no one Really cared.

We stayed in this property over Christmas. It is a fine place to stop for a few days but I would not make it a destination property. The cottages are small for a family and the property is pretty but not a place to spend more than a couple of days. The hot springs were pretty but over crowded, so we could not partake of the waters. Food is expensive but the included breakfast is filling.

I stayed here in a lodge with 2 friends. Our room was very spacious. Its good to have your own porch outside the room to dump shoes etc. The layout of the cabins were good and it felt a bit like Center Parcs.

We had a lovely view from our room of the volcano (when it wasn't cloudy).

Apart from breakfast, I wouldn't eat in the restaurant. We had dinner there one night. The service wasn't brilliant and the food was bland. You are better off going into town.

A taxi to go downtown was around $12.

Great to try out the spa pools dotted up the path. It's bliss sitting in the warm water and again, looking at the Volcano (on a sunny day)

It was great to have several thermal water pools on-site. The breakfast was great. The room and bathroom were clean. Security was good. There was a safe in the cabin. Great place to get in touch with nature and relax! We could not see the volcano because it was raining. We used the spa services and they were OK.
