“Well worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

A very open air spot a bit off the main drag and a bit difficult to find.

Great service and food. And very inexpensive.

One of our better meals in Costa Rica.

“Best Meal in Arenal/LaFortuna Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

We went to this restaurant on the advice of several locals.
The food was great, the service was great and the price was considerably less than eating at the hotel.
I had a steak, my wife and daughter both had seafood and we all thought our meals were the best we had.

“An Excellent Small Town Costa Rican Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

My wife, son, and I ate here while staying in the Arenal/Fortuna area. It had been recommended by staff at the hotel as well as the driver who brought us from San Jose so we figured it was worth a try. It is located about a block off the street so you would not find it by accident. It like many restaurants in Fortuna has half walls on the outside to allow the breeze to keep it cool. The menu was relatively large with a focus on Costa Rican dishes. We had chicken/cheese casserole dish, rice and shrimp and the steak special and ate off each other's plates. We were in agreement that all the dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious--in fact, one of the the best shrimp and rice dishes we've ever had. We all picked this as the best meal we had in Costa Rica

My husband and I ate here on our honeymoon and had the most amazing seafood dinner for only around $30 total!

“Great food, great setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

On a hot day it's great to sit in the open-air breeze and down a few Imperials. I had the crab avocado and also the chicken and rice. My wife had the sea bass. It was a three-way tie for awesome!
