We had to see what all the hype about this place was.
I have no qualms about eating at a hole in the wall place but this IN FACT is a hole in the wall. It is tucked away in a corner next to a motorcycle repair shop. You might even miss it if it weren't for the giant Coca-Cola tent.
My husband and I both ordered burgers and fries. The burgers were cooked to order along with frozen type French fries. I'm not saying it was awful. It was a burger. Nothing special. Nothing that I'd really remember other than it cured my hunger pains. Our meal including drinks set us back about $17 usd.
The owner was nice but not overly friendly. She was too busy taking care of her screaming, bratty little boy. Not the warm cozy atmosphere I'd read about.
In a nutshell, not impressed, not awful, don't eat hamburgers in Costa Rica. Expand your palate and try something new.
