Simply the BEST in the area. Not much good eating in town. But we found the NY Grill and we were so happy to find this place. Great food, great people, great service! Such nice folks that took so good care of us we felt like family. Visited them 2 times in our 3 days in town since we found tasty treats at fair prices. A must stop while in town. Enjoy!

Tried several times to go here. The hotel staff said they had not heard of it as did several cabbies. Our tour guides had heard of it but tried to talk us out of going there. Got the impression that the locals did not like this place but don't know why. Finally made it & the "hole in wall" descriptions are fitting but I don't mind that. We ate in a couple of other small places that were very good. We were the only customers. I ordered the nachos - yellow liquid cheese sauce covered and it was cold. Would not return even though it is inexpensive.

Everything about our meal was great here, repeating some early reviews, including the friendly family that own it (he's from Jersey!). The owners daughter entertained us while we waited for our meal with her two pet iguanas, and we enjoyed the friendly chat. In fairness to all of you planning your meals, you might find the restaurant a little rustic (sitting outside on Picnic tables) for a family dinner. But we did have a good burger and chicken parm sandwich.

We looked up restaurants on this site and found this to be #1 and we agree. We ate there twice and the food and prices were very reasonable. The people who own it are very friendly and it was nice to order from people who speak English - very nice when you are so far from home. The place is a little off the road and doesn't look like much but it's do worth the stop.
