Our family stayed one night in one of the family bungalows.... wish we had planned our trip in such a way that we could have stayed longer! Probably my favorite of all the places we stayed. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed being able to sit out on our terrace at night and just enjoy the feeling of being IN the rainforest. We really enjoyed the meals in the open-air dining area near the pool... they weren't particularly fancy, but the food was very fresh and tasty. It was very quiet during the day - we were the only ones around the pool most of the time. There is even a resident sloth who hangs out in one of the trees near the pool (and he's a three toed sloth, not a two toed one, so he was active during the day and we got some great pictures and video). There are quite a few walking trails - my only suggestion is that there should be printed versions of the map for the trails so you can figure out where you are going... we did have some trouble finding our way around. Be aware that if you're coming from La Fortuna and you have a GPS, it may send you the "back way", which includes a very narrow bridge and then a road that looks more like a streambed. Follow the directions from the hotel website instead! Overall, a wonderful place to stay!
