“We loved staying at La Terraza B&B!!”

We had been to Costa Rica twice before, staying at various hotels en route to Manual Antonio and Arenal, Monte Verde. This trip, we wanted to get to know Costa Rica a little better by staying in one place. We researched many places and were most attracted to La Terraza because of the location and the excellent write ups. WE COULDN'T HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE. Jeanetta and Charles are the perfect hosts. Charles met us and dropped us off at the airport. Jeanetta arranged for a rental car to be dropped off and picked up at La Terraza. They were both a wealth of information, a lot of fun, and more than accommodated our needs. The rooms were great (we stayed in both a single room and the apartment). Breakfast and dinner (upon request) were delicious! (I love Costa Rican food but was glad that La Terraza offered lower carb home cooked meals.) We'll definitely be returning to La Terraza!

We chose La Terraza because we wanted to be near the airport at the end of our trip but did not want to stay in San Jose. Grecia is a small local CR town where we were exposed to true CR culture. We stayed for 2 nights in June 2007 at La Terraza and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful with the various and interesting plants, trees, flowers, and even a river. The welcoming meal and daily breakfasts were delicious and the banana nut bread.....yummy. Jeanetta and Charles arranged our transportation to and from the airport and to the Poas Volcano with Carlos. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi at night and the convenience of having hi speed internet on the property.

Jeanetta and Charles did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. But the best part was the many conversations we had with them. They are very warm and open often sharing with us their unique life history and insights. And we laughed so much with them. It was as if we had known them for years.

We would definitely suggest La Terraza.

“A place of peace and tranquility”

After booking my stay at La Terraza on the phone, I flew in from China on a very long exhausting series of flights lasting more than two days.
I was picked up at the airport and offered a welcoming breakfast/ lunch which was very welcome and excellent. Due to the large number of guests staying, I was allocated an entire house with 3 bedrooms all to myself. I was impressed by the spotless condition of everything, even the grounds. After coming in from China the sounds of the birds and the rain was very relaxing and helped the jet lag immeasurably. Grecia is an oasis of peace and La Terraza is an oasis within it. The feeling of peace and comfort was such a welcome feeling after the frenzy of China.

Talking with other guests I found that many were returning, some had been to La Terraza several times and I can see why. This comfortable and glistening clean B&B is a wonderful base of operations for tourists, business people, or just a place to forget your worries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Terraza. It was close to the San Jose airport, on a beautiful property with clean rooms including a fantastic organic breakfast. Friendly and hospitable owners and staff. Highly recommended!

“Charles and Jeanetta were AWSOME!”

This was are first time to Costa Rica and Charles and Jeanetta made the entire trip Awsome.
Our trip started by Charles picking us up at the airport, it was a long day traveling it was 8:30 pm when we arived and we were very tired and hungry. Charles drove us to La Terraza where Jeanetta had dinner for us. We ate our dinner and Charles took us to our own private 4 bed 2 bath home. Charles helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the home.
The very next morning we went to the main La Terraza and had a huge breafast! Jeanetta helped us get familiar with the area. She gave us all the directions (on a sheet of paper) to where we were staying so we could give them to Taxi drivers ect. (none of us knew spanish so this was very helpful)
We had a great breafast everyday
Jeanetta set us up with our own private tour guide and he showed us more in a few days then we would have seen in a month on our own.
At the end of our trip Charles took us to the airport and we said our goodbys.
We feel that we have made great friends in Costa Rica and would recommmend La Terraza to anyone traveling to Costa Rica

THANKS JEANETTA AND CHARLES!!!
