“Best choice near the airport and volcano poas, would like to be there again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) booked this hotel on our journey in february. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, lovely bar. We felt welcome and would recommend this small hotel for everyone, who likes to be near the airport and near to volcano poas.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, there is a road nearby, and it gets louder in the early morning

Clean, older boutique hotel. We had standard room. Basic, but clean with a good working A/C, ceiling fan, & safe. Very nice/large pool area.

Good drinks at the bar with reasonable prices. Good breakfast which was was included in the price.

Only complaint- the showers needs some work as it was very hard to control the temperature.

Very quiet and spacious place, very sunny, with a nice pool and beautiful gardens. The quality of the cuisine is unique in the country. We went to the kitchen to tell the cooking girl ( very charming young person) that we loved all her plates. The waiter Thomas is a first class person, very attentive, fast, efficient and with a good sense of humour. You cannot ask for more.

Room Tip: For more quietness, choose a room with the entrance overlooking the gardens and not the wall separat...

Thank you so much for considering us the best location near the airport! We are fortunate to have both the sun and the large pool and very lucky to have Tomas on our team. We have shared your praise for Lizbeth and Tomas with each of them. Thank you again for your comments

Room was very basic yet comfortable. The pool area is great, you are able to sit by the pool and have dinner. Good food, very attentive staff. Ground are well kept and constantly groomed. A downside is that this palce is very hard to find.

Thank you for sharing your opinion...and we are happy that you found us! With a little more time we hope that the taxi drivers all know who we are. Open only 7 months and are looking into ways we can be more easily located. Mid April there will be a mural size sign at the nearest intersection, a landmark created by a local artist, to help those driving without a GPS. Thank you again!

This wonderful boutique hotel is located on the slopes of the Poas Volcano, a short drive from the airport ( Not an airport hotel though as such ). It is unbelievably well decorated, both elegant and casual at the same time. Luxury but not tacky or over the top, plain but not minimalistic. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant Pandora probably the best I ate at while in Costa Rica. The hotel has a large property, with abundant trees and plants, plenty of birds are seen daily. The large pool was perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. The price we paid was more than fair for the first class service and the room and hotel facilities. I will highly recommend the hotel to anybody.

Room Tip: Eat at the restaurant, it is the best.

We stayed with my partner for one stay upon arrival in Costa Rica. We arrived late and the welcome was really good. The room was nice, clean. The bed really comfortable. Good breakfast and extremely nice swimming pool. Really nice staff. I would strongly recommend the place.

We stayed at Villa San Ignacio a few years back when it was Orquiedas Inn and were impressed with the changes made to this property.
The food in the restaurant Pandora was great....I was pleasantly surprised how good my last meal and breakfast were. I spent extra money on the wavos ranchero for breakfast and all the food awesome!
Andres the bartender was very personable and kind. He also have great music playing.
I cant wait for our next trip the Costa Rica. I'm sure well stay here again. And the hotel set us up with a great taxi driver we used twice. we arrived late and he waited 40 mins for us!!
The only annoying thing not the hotels fault was the annoying bike that drove around the property for hours at night.
And great water pressure in the shower.

Room Tip: stay on the side not closest to the road
