Jody and Wilson are terrific hosts, helpful and attentive without being clingy, and the place is lovely, many sweet, artistic and elegant touches in the rooms and the central pool area. Very comfortable, really quiet for Alajuela, and we had a great night at a local Mexican restaurant.
Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone, and for the tours especially if travelling in the country for the first time, or if someone is uncomfortable with Spanish language.

Casa Marin B&B is located less than 10 minutes from the San Jose, SJO, airport. We are in Alajuela and are central to the volcanos, coffee plantations, waterfalls, botantical gardens and other tourist favorites. Many hotels are centered in a very busy and noisy area near the airport, Casa Marin B&B is located in a tranquil, rural area of Alajuela, yet convenient to restaurants and shopping. We offer two poolside cabinas, one especially for couples, the other for a family of four. In the main house, we have two other bedrooms and have room for up to nine guests. Casa Marin B&B is only an hour and a half from the Pacific Beach, two hours from La Fortuna and Volcano Arenal. We want the best possible vacation for our guests and are knowledgeable about hotels and tours in many areas of the country.
