“Great place near Callaway Gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

We were visiting nearby Callaway Gardens and could not justify coming out of pocket $175 a night to stay in the Lodge & Spa there on the premises, so we decided that we would save some money and stay a little further away. This turned out to be a great decision as the rooms were great as was the service and breakfast.

We were very tired when we stopped. We were cheerfully greeted and enjoyed our stay. The room had a flat screen TV, comfortable bed & couch...unfortunately there was no refrigerator that other HIE's have, but we would still stay here again.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

My husband and I stayed at this hotel overnight with another couple friend of ours. This is a VERY VERY clean Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are very well appointed, spacious & spotless. The morning express breakfast is great. Oatmeal, Grits, Ham, Pancakes, Biscuits & Gravy, Bananas, pastries, juices, and coffee. What a great way to start your day! The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I am VERY particular about the hotels I stay in however, this one is GREAT and I would recommend it to anyone who may be passing through that may need a place to stay overnight.

Nothing really special of note to mention here, this is a safe, clean hotel right off the interstate. Not many food choices around however, but breakfast in the morning at this chain is excellent and staff was very friendly

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2011

Stayed on a Sunday evening en route to a business meeting. Not a large complex but well kept. On the opposite side of the interstate was a larger Hampton Inn. I didn't expect much with the AAA rate of $57.60 booked on the hotel's website but the facility appeared well maintained. Room was clean and neat as well. Was not able to partake in the breakfast but looked to be you standard fare. They had hot items as well. Overall no complaints. If I were to nit-pick, the TV volume control was not very responsive. When you check-in they remind you that though you are in Alabama, they use eastern time zone.
