Wanted to try somewhere we had not been on my most recent trip to Tuscaloosa and was pleasantly surprised by this eclectic little Italian restaurant. It was packed on a Tuesday (in the midst of UA freshman orientations, so probably not surprising), but there were only two of us, so our wait was minimal.
The breadsticks are awesome - we had the cheese and onion ones, next time I would definitely go for the meat and cheese variety. My son had a chicken pasta dish that was ok - could have had more flavor. I had a spicy shrimp pasta dish that was fantastic. There was decent wine by the glass selection.
The service was great - very attentive, and the food arrived fairly quickly despite the busy night.
The atmosphere is fun - lots to look at on the walls. A great quaint college town restaurant! And a nice change from all of the bbq we typically eat (and love) in Tuscaloosa!
