“Great Service ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

Waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Cheese rolls are to die for! Yum-Yum!!! Great selection of Mediterranean fare.
Downtown location is just shooing distance from all the bars. Pub atmosphere could be infused with more flair, but did not take away from the total dining experience. Spicy Bloody Mary is a must have!

“Gyros and Hummus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Having traveled to Greece, finding a good gyro is hard to do. However, I heard about Glory Bound and how unique there menu was. Someone described it to me a Greek cuisine with a Southern Twist. Who can go wrong with that. So I gave it a try a couple weeks ago and the Surf-N-Turf Gyro was amazing. I also tried the Jalapeno-Cilantro and Chipotle-Lime Hummus and was blown away. I've had traditional hummus but to see 10 different flavors of hummus was impressive. A must try!

“Great Gyros”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Great gyros, pepper jack is very good also like the morning standard as well. All I have tried are good. Happy hour drink specials all day every day. Tuesday is $5.00 gyro day so every gyro except steak or shrimp are just $5.00, great day to try if you've never eaten here.

“Good stuff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Our first dining stop in downtown Tuscaloosa - just stumbled upon it. Cool historic building with quirky decor, very prompt and helpful service. Our waitress was uber friendly and attentive - she turned off an overhead fan when we were noticably shivering. You can always recognize sincere Southern hospitality . . . The Pepperjack Gyro is a house specialty, so had to order that! Humongous and delicious. Chicken and burger gyros were gobbled up too, but the Pepperjack was the favorite. We tried a hummus sampler that included a seasonal pumpkin hummus which I really loved - others found it ok. Sun-dried tomato and jalapeno hummuses (hummae?!?) were outstanding; pita bread addictive. :o) Obviously this place is a huge hit with Bama students, but lots of families were dining too. Would go back in a heartbeat.
