“Overpriced but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

While the prices are through the roof in this place, their food is definitely high quality. Be sure to have a diet plan if you want to come to this place because their desserts will clog your arteries and give you a heart attack...in a good way. The desserts are super delicious. I even took an extra chocolate cake home. I don't remember what I had for the main meal, but it was comfort food of sorts that left me happy. The portions are big, so plan to either split or take home. I took a half of my meal home.

Hi Alice,
Thank you so much for taking the time and writing about your experience at WHISK! Setting a fair price has always been a challenge for us since we use very high quality natural ingredients that often need to be specially imported and are heavily taxed in China. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our products and we hope to see you again in the future! ☺

“Dessert Heaven (and good pasta too!)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

The pasta dishes were all good (though their spicy seafood one was not spicy). All the ones we ordered all used penne which was cooked well and the pizza was simple, thin crust and delicious.

The standout were the desserts. All these were absolutely incredible. The chocolate banana cake, the chocolate cheesecake, the molten chocolate, the list goes on...

Nothing more to say. Just delicious desserts!

“Whisk - Pizza Delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

Whisk known for it's deserts - well think again, this place does great pizza's. So a great place to go to for pizza and deserts, that is for sure. The Chocolate Molten Cakes being exceptional. The risottos not so - then again to make a good risotto takes seriously a master - anything less is a gloopy mess. It is possible that one could mask the gloop a little by presenting the food on slightly less juvenile plates, it might raise expectations and give the risottos themselves at least the appearance of being more than gruel unless that is the plan massive - juxtaposition - to show the dinner just how delicious 'Chocolate Molten Cakes' are.

“Incredible hot chocolate and focaccia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

We didn't have a full meal here so I can't comment on the mains, but we did order the most beautiful focaccia with hummus. Honesty I think it's the best focaccia I've ever had. Then we had a chocolate brownie with ice-cream, which was very good but not quite as good as the one we had sampled at Lillian's Bakery the day before. I finished with a beautiful hot chocolate made from 76% chocolate. Again, one of the best ever!

“Meh.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Maybe it's all about the desserts, maybe we shouldn't have gone for dinner. The food was below average I thought. It was poor quality western food. It wasn't awful, it just wasn't what you go to a restaurant to eat. We had the antipasto and pasta. The pasta dishes were uninteresting and quite plasticky. We did have a hot chocolate dessert, which was nice but the ice cream was, again, of poor quality. Service was good though and the staff were nice.
