“Sure it's touristy, but it's a must-do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Been here a few times, and I've never regretted coming for a stroll on the bund. Even if you are alone, bring your camera and send a few pictures home of this awesome city. The place is relatively uncrowded compared to the rest of the city, and the touts aren't as present as the adjacent shopping street.

Definitely the iconic post card view of Shanghai.

“Visit the Bund”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

The Bund is the more historic side of the river and has a great view of the newer and currently under development Puding side. Many chinese tourists also visit so on a weekend or public holiday personal space is at a premium. Just go with the flow and enjoy the view and the sites.

“Restaurant Row”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

This part of Downtown Shanghai is described in every travel guide to the city. Nice place just for walk and enjoyment of spectacular views of the City. Good place to find a nice restaurant for a romantic dinner or just to chill out.

“Fabulous views of some amazing buildings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We walked up and down the Bund on each of the four days we had in Shanghai, and there was always something new to look at, whether brides in their colourful dresses, the lights and the boats at night, the way the buildings changed from the different angles, and even the way the weather changed the look of it all.
