The hotel is very attractive, the staff are friendly and most speak good English. They were helpful in getting me tickets to the show. The location is handy, near several malls and a number of upscale international boutiques. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Metro which is easily navigable and a bargain. The breakfast looked like more than I wanted and pricey so I went across the street to Starbucks and Mickey D. Actually Mickey D seemed to have better coffee here. There's also a lunch shop next to both which is decent. There is an array of English TV channels as well as others and a widescreen TV; the workout room is excellent. Refrigerator and safe in the room. Be sure to check out the library room on the 27th floor at night for a great view of the city. Also they had a very fine print exhibition up there while I stayed; well worth a 20 minute look. All rooms are quiet from hotel noise but the horns from cars can be heard everywhere. Maybe less in the upper floors. Maybe. Wired Internet in the room is expensive; it cost me 120 RMB/day to send you this report.
