“Not very original Thai”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014

Service is Chinese which means they forget you.I ordered a beer, waitress disappeared and never came back.We ordered some all time favourites of the Thai cuisine.Springrolls,fishcake,sateh.....all acceptable....The Thai noodles are in fact Chinese noodles....not original Pad Thai...price for dinner for 2 very acceptable.Would come back and try again.

“Allegedly a Thai restaurant using the famous Banana Leaf symbolism of Singapore”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

There were no banana leaves in sight.
We started with a mixed entree platter. The chicken satay lacked satay sauce. The spring rolls were ok, but we had one little dish of a sweet chilli sauce, but not authentic at all. The fish cakes were very bland and the prawn cakes were floury and tasted strange. The prWn crackers looked so odd we didn't try them at all!

The two curries on offer were a crab curry or a Malaysian curry with either chicken or beef brisket.

We tried the Malaysian chicken curry. For every little piece of chicken, there was a large piece of potato, but at least the flavour was ok. The colour that was intense which seemed they had added food colouring, as did the intensely yellow pineapple fried rice. The Thai style spicy fried fish was baked in sweet and sour sauce complete with frozen/tinned carrots and peas. Disappointing to say the least!

The service in this large restaurant was mediocre at best.

“Excellent foods, numerous choices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

I ate there 3 times on my last trip to China. It's a chain restaurant, with so many selections to suit every taste. Moderate prices. They even sing and dance at times throughout the meal! Even on hot days the huge leaf ceiling fans keep the place comfy.
