“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Seriously blown away by the show put on by Shanghai Circus World.
They performed some amazingly difficult acts, it was worth every yuan.
Tip for the westerners, the popcorn is super sweet, not salty. Really weirded us out!

“A fantastic show! 7 motorbikes in the Globe of Death!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

This was a highlight of our Shanghai visit. 2 hours of breathtaking stunts and beautiful acrobatics. Live music from two bands that combined traditional Chinese music and pop/rock.

We booked the tickets via our hotel. We picked them up at the Shanghai Circus World. The seats are OK, and the 290 RMB tickets are fine, as many previous reviewers have commented on.

Fully recommended!

“Interesting night out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Went with a few friends to see the show, it is held in a small theatre, but worth a visit.
This show is more on the flexiblity of the performers and not just typical circus events.

Highlight was around 6-12 performers on small motorbikes all driving around in a steel cage ball.
One small mistake could have ended very badly, thank goodness no mistakes were made.

“Amazingly mind blowing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Not your usual cheesy Chinese acrobatics performance with badly designed costumes. Think Cirque de soleil - with a Chinese twist and plenty more suspense. Absolutely amazing lighting, live performance (band and singing), tastefully choreographed, amazing troops, definitely an international standard performance. A big thumbs up. We bought the US100 tickets and so we had the best seats in the house. The ones on the right and left of the VIP seats have equally as good a view so would suggest if budget is an issue go for those tickets instead.

We bought and paid for the tickets on line. Chose the option for tickets to be delivered. They sent me a mail informing me to collect the tickets at the box office on the day. Not a good idea especially when the traffic from pudong is horrific on a Friday night and there was only one lady servicing walk in tickets purchase, tickets collection as well as phone booking !
